Poems about Love
Author: Terra Blake

Chapter 24
You were 21

Fell in love in the backseat of your car
It was a 97' F-150 with 46345 miles
Didn't look too good but it got us far
Our anniversary 3-4-05, we lasted a little whiles

I remember that day when you took my hand
Lightly kissed it then put it back
I was more then happy you were my man
Too bad we couldn't keep going on this track

You were 21 when you lost the zone
You took your hands off the wheel
And it spun on its own
That kiss of death was are ending seal

I didn't know just what was going on
I stuck around when I should have been
There with you, clutching the side walk, gone
Guess you let the devil in disguise win

Now after all that we lost
I swear I'll never let go
