Poems about Love
Author: Terra Blake

Chapter 18
She is a Royal Blacksmith

My heart must be iron or steel
yet and still It won't bend
won't mend Not since you broke
my heart Walked away, left us apart

My chosen poison
lies over the ocean
She lies over the sea
She eyes full as the moon
and as blue as can be

Funny thing is I turned
a blind eye Friends kept
asking why You gone so long
out so late Thought it was love
thought it was fate

My sip of pain
knows no shame
She has kisses of acid
Which play on my heart string
with rain and avid mean ing

Not all places exist to be seen
Some are in the shadows and
all grays in between
I think love is one of
those places Now all I feel
is faint beat traces

My forged emotions
Guess, so sprung now I'm
so broken
Damn, that hurt Thought
we had it Our life im a plain

I don't think she was trying
to defeat me Just buy time for
the calvary And man did they
hit hard First my sister
than my dad, she walked out
when I let down my guard
She was the only thing
left I had
