Poems about Love
Author: Terra Blake

Chapter 10
If you let me just stick around

And I know that youíre all shook up
From a terrible relationship
Broke your heart
Tore you in to pieces
But I promise you dear

Iíll never be the ocean
With the waves crashing over you
Until you drown
Six feet underground

I know that you blown back
From a tragic ending
Ripped out your heart
Left it bleeding on the pavement
But I promise you love

I'll never be the jungle
Vines to pull but leave you helpless
Running through quick sand
Getting you no where

I could pick your heart
Up off the ground
But that's only if you let me
Stick around
