Chapter 2
Dreams I've Had Of Enrique

Dear Journal                                        January 7 2011

As is the case for all journals and diaries that I write in, I am not consistent in putting an entry in daily.
My first entry had to do with what and why I like Enrique. This entry will be about dreams I have had of Enrique so far.
The first dream was where I was at a Badgers/Packers game and during half-time Enrique sung his “I Like It” song (one of my favorite songs of his). Well, I started to get up and walk to the concession stands to get some food and Enrique just happened to be done with his song and was walking in the same direction as me. Both of us, not watching where we were going, bumped into each other. We both apologized to one another and began conversing. That’s where the dream ended. But as far as I’m concerned it could have gone on forever.=)
The second dream which I just had last night came in different parts like little bits and pieces. But it was all very tangible. To put it as it was, the dream happened while I was half asleep and half awake so part of the dream I thought up and the rest was authentic. To put it plainly the main thing that stuck out to me in the dream was where I meet Enrique and I’m just a normal nobody, as I am right now, and he a special somebody, the way he is right now also. We become to love each other and one night we take things too far. When morning comes I ask him “What will happen if I become pregnant from this?”
He smiles and replies “We’ll take it in stride. One day at a time.”
I return his smile and we both get dressed. About two weeks later I find out that I am pregnant. I call Enrique up, happy and sad at the same time. I’m happy to be pregnant with Enrique’s first child and son, but sad at how it happened. Enrique promises to help raise the child and begins to send checks every week after it’s born. When his job permits  him and when he can escape the paparazzi he would come and visit. So far no one knew anything about the baby or me, except for Enrique and myself, of course. Enrique had yet to break it to his eight-year girlfriend and was reluctant to do so. But soon everything became revealed as it would have sooner or later. Pictures of me and Enrique walking down the streets began to pop up all over the internet. After the baby was born, who was a boy, I remember one walk in particular. I had just spoken with Enrique’s ex-girlfriend in a heated discussion about how I had stolen Enrique away from her and in which she called me a whore. I told Enrique about the conversation as I held the baby close to me and Enrique wrapped me up in his strong arms and kissed me on the top of my head saying “I am so sorry I did this to you.”
I replied and said “It’s just as much my fault as it is yours.”
Enrique left that very night and I didn’t see or hear from him for weeks on end until his weekend concert in May. I go to the concert, bringing the baby, and I’m at the front row rocking out to him.=) He starts singing “Hero” and beckons to me and pulls me up onto the stage and kisses me. It seemed to last forever and the feeling of his strong arms wrapped around me once more was too good to be true.
And that’s where the dream ended.
