When it comes to the Black Community various issues arise, however it's more Internal than External. When I hear a person say "I don't date light skin guys because they're cheaters, cocky, too pretty" instead of " " because "I'm just not attracted to them", makes me cringe. But why? Because this issue with color has always existed in the Black Community. My people seem to put such "" on a person's color that it is ridiculous. Although we are all Black, many seem to constantly try to differentiate themselves by referring to "lightskin","darkskin", "brownskin", instead of embracing the many shades of black we do have. Instead of appreciating the fact that ALL Black is beautiful. Or Is it?
