JaneInside is a frightening true story of a teenager who created a character to protect herself. It follows Janeís thoughts and experiences with boys, friends, popularity, boredom, sex, drugs, alcohol, parties and death. Filled with diary entries, poems and doodles, JaneInside is for teenagers, parents and anyone in-between. Itís an honest and true account of being an average teen.
JaneInside is not designed to preach, but it does offer an understanding, with raw and honest insights into the mind of a teenager who went from a positive and hopeful 12 year old to a negative 20 year old who wanted to end her life. The authorís aim is to reduce the stigma associated with making mistakes, by being honest and open about her own.
Although written in New Zealand, the themes in JaneInside are universal and could apply to any teenager or any person, anywhere in the world.

I say the reason for teen-age angst is that we don't just put you to work in sweatshops when you turn 13. You must have too much time on your hands!

I hope you find the right fellow (or, not, as you please) and enjoy a long and happy life.
