Nathaniel wanted to believe that his parents died in the tragic fire like everyone else, but the visible stabs and wounds meant something else. He reminds himself that Akeldama was the city where death is nothing but overrated-- infested with ruthless demons, pro-violence government, mind-hijacked children.

In his newly found home with the Herondale's, he meets a very beautiful woman named Dawn and and learns to see the beauty that exists in the darkness.

When darkness itself was beautiful, and being a guardian is not the job of an angel, love takes on a new meaning.

This is so good. This is so far the best book I have read sense I have joined this web site. Your writing style is amazing. Your details are so good I feel like I'm there, and the way you word things makes it easy for me to feel Nathaniel's pain along with him. I can't wait to read on. This is amazing.
I would love if when you have time if you could take a look at one of my books. Shadow World, Pandora's Order, and Home Sweet Home.

Wow, I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this is! I've seen people write these kinds of things before, but none have the same grammar as you do. You know when to put the right words in, when to make the reader feel sad and when to bind this whole thing together. It's not often I say this, and when I do this is high praise, but you have a special gift.
If I were you, I'd get everyone to read this. I've just read the first chapter of this stunning book, and already you've captivated me with your words, your description, everything!
Please add more soon. I intend to read as much as possible, and I hope you add more chapters as soon as possible.
Keep up the amazing work,
Cassandra.
