King Zylbersdyne has been oppressing the people of Rah for decades. He has been able to keep them at bay by appointing warlords who quarrel among themselves and let assassinate the Toorgoods who had been the only serious threat to him. Thus his power seems secure.

Yet, a prophecy has been made that sees the end of the King's reign by the golden sword of a young and powerful man. Loar, orphaned by the assassins of Zylbersdyne, has taken over the leadership of his late father at 22 years of age. He is faced with the unenviable task to unite the warlords and lead them to the final victory against their common suppressor whose rule appears to be coming to an end as Loar's forces have decimated Zylbersdyne's army and are surrounding him in his final hiding place: the Tower of Aylashua.

Loar is confident that he will fulfill the prophecy of the Oracle of Neptuuguis. But he is not aware of the magical powers that the Orb of Guatalis possesses. No one knows the whereabouts of this ancient piece that has been lost since centuries.

This prologue is awesome and it includes great description. The sentences seem to flow smoothly and the plot draws you in quickly.
Can't wait for the first chapter.
