Wow, this is a very great first chapter!! I really love how the narrator introduces their self and the whole scene with the remote control was very clever!! It's so very well-written that when I read this first chapter it was like reading a real book and I can just sense that you're not an new writer because this is like professional writing!! Great first chapter :):)

I love the way this is told and can't wait to read more! I love how I feel as though Nathan is real and is sitting here telling me about his life. The title grabbed me and the story telling it self has pulled me in! Well done!

Dude, this is amazing. There's so much description in here, so much meaning, your story will swallow anybody. I didn't even blink until I was done reading. Fantastic story!

I don't mean to be a bother, but mine checking out my story "Blind Guardian"?

This is probably going to sound really desperate, but do you mind giving me feedback on my novel(Were). I would really appreciate some advice. There are only six chapters so far.

I love your characters! And your story is unbelievingly genuine. I really hope you get published. This is worth ten billion times more than any vampire/druggy/depressed/werewolf saga on this site!

Thanks for the thoughts Anne. He does become an adult eventually :)

Very different yet very interesting... the boy seems younger than a high-school-er though, maybe you could try to make him act a bit older sometimes... if him acting younger is how you intended it then nevermind, it's still a good story :D
Stephen Oberauer Saturday, 11 September 2010
Thanks, Elijah. It was in the year that the first Harry Potter movie was released, so he wasn't that famous yet... I suppose I could mention that Kirsty had heard of the movie.

Elijah Willis Monday, 6 September 2010
One tip of advice, don't make your characters talk about harry potter like they don't know who he is. Maybe Nathen, but Kirsty has to know what harry potter is!

poor nathan. :( I'll kill Kirsty!

I think Avatar was released at the end of 2009, after the movie mentioned here. Also, I do mention that he's famous, implying that people do know who he is. I like to be specific, because it makes the book seem more real. Maybe I should say "the" famous director, rather than "a"? :)

Elijah Willis Friday, 10 September 2010
Here again! You talk about James Cameron as if nobody knows who he is. Everybody knows James Cameron because of Avatar! Don't say "a famous science fiction move director!" No "a"! Although, I have to say I would prefer it if you took out James Cameron's name completely and just say "a famous movie director". Please!

Sorry, I'm being nit picky. But please do this for me!

Really well written novel. It flowed well. You managed to 'show' me and not 'tell' me the story.

Cassie Campbell Friday, 30 December 2011
The best. It was funny, and even though it was completely impossible, I found myself believing every minute if it.
