Chapter 19
Oh Sparrow

This is the first poem I wrote. I hope you enjoy it.

Oh sparrow, oh sparrow

Sing to me your song

Of life and of death

Of new and of old

Oh sparrow, oh sparrow

Fly to me from afar

Tell me your stories

Of times that have grown old

Come closer, oh sparrow

I’ll tell you my secrets

Of wars and of peace

Of things seen and unseen

Oh sparrow, oh sparrow

Arrows fly through the air

Fly faster oh sparrow

Escape this fast approaching end

Oh sparrow, oh sparrow

You lie bloody on the ground

I shall miss you, oh sparrow

My life shall end too

Oh sparrow, oh sparrow

We shall soon be together again

One stab through the heart

Shall take my life too

Goodbye to the world

I shall not miss you

For my life belongs to sparrow

And not the mortal world

Blood stains the ground

I am finished too

My eyes black out

I now cannot see

I am now paralyzed

With fear and with pain

I now see sparrow

Fluttering around my head

I know I am dead

And sparrow and I are together again
