reality nightmare ( chapter 1 and 2 in middle of a MONSTER editing job!!!!)
I sit at lunch, feeling really bored. Kyle and his friends are talking about football. Lesley and Marisa are consumed with their hair. I then decided it was time to open the note, and look.
I opened it carefully. And read what it said:
You are going to die. You will never understand why because we will kill you before you figure out your little secret. Remember keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. For you are now doing such. By the way there is no way to escape this because someone is watching you at this very moment.
the first sentence was ok, I knew I was going to die eventually. The second freaked me out because I don’t want to be murdered. Who is close to me that is against me? I could think of no names. The fourth was a creeper to me because I know someone is against me. The fifth the most frightening. Someone is watching me, right now, at this very moment? But maybe it was the whole letter that made me scream. It’s not like I’ve had death threats befor and I know how to handle it.
Everyone stopped eating and looked at me, as thought I was some freak. I ran out of the room, and Kyle followed me.
“What is it baby?” I feel as though I’m watching a romantic movie. “are you all right?”
He grabs my hand. I am pressed upon him, and I like it. He kisses me and it feels like the world stops. “I’m alright.” His face doesn’t look happy. He kisses me again. “I promise.” I quickly kiss him. “I’ll be back in a little bit.”
He notices the note.
“What-what is that in your hand?” his eyes concentrate on me, and me only. I think about it for a moment. Should I tell him?
“It’s nothing.” I try to tell him.
“While then where are you going?” he digs for more information.
“The principle that’s all.” He grabs me.
“Listen, Samantha, I know, I know who they are.” And he looks away shamefully.
