Chapter 30

Isabelle
I walked out the house and let out a sigh. How did this happen again? I told myself that after the last time I fell for him, I wouldn't let it happen. And here I am... again.
I remembered that Elliot gave me him number so I could call him to give me a ride. Or I could just go to the parl or something, for a little bit, and catch a bus or something back home.
I put my iPod on and the song Brick By Boring Brick was on. (wow I have a lot of Paramore on my iPod...)
I made it to the park and climbed into the biggest tree there. The top was covered in leaves so no one would see me, unless they climbed the tree themselves. I lied back and let the music calm me down. I closed my eyes to think and just sat there.

I opened my eyes again and it was 6:30pm. Damn, I fell asleep up here? (Thank god I didn't fall). I stretched and climbed down. The sun was still up but it was beginning to go down. Just barely, but it was.
"I wonder what James is going to sa- No I don't." I don't even want to go back to that damn condo. He's going to try and apologize, kiss me, and the same b.s as always. Well, I'm not falling for it.
I pulled out my phone and called Elliot. He picked up on the third ring. "Hello?"
"Hey, um, Elliot? This is Isabelle. From ealier today?"
"Oh, hey. You're not with that ass who punched me, are you?"
"Not really. I'm like... three hours away. I was wondering if you could pick me up."
He stopped to think and you could literally hear the grin on his face. "Sure. Where are you exactly?"
I gave him my information and about two and a half hours later, he was in front of me in a silver Honda Civic. "Hey."
"Hey." I gave a half smile and got in the car. Along the drive, it was quiet. I looked at him and saw something really familiar. "You know you look like some one I know."
"Well, I have a lot of relatives... But I look the most like my sister, Candy."
My jaw dropped. "Your what?"
