Chapter 11
No Choice, But My Inner Voice

"Wha-" I cut him off.

"Just do it!"

He looks like he's thinking. And guess what? I actually hear something but it's really quiet.

I luf vue

What? I-bluf-no-Love?Yes! I love you. "Did you think, 'I love you'?"

He blushes but smiles,"Maybe..."

I blush to but he can't really see me.

"So, is it body hunting time?" He says curiously.

"Beats me. Maybe I should practice more?"

"Most deffinatly." He agrees.

Long story short, I actually am a master at mind reading but not body finding. I mean how can I not know where my body is? It's mine! Johnny keeps reminding me that time is ticking away. I just want to curl up in a ball and die. Like really die this time.

"I don't know what there is to do!" Johnny throws up his hands.

I shudder, I swear I could hear my voice crack as I talked, " Neither do I! I'm fucking tired of this shit. Just let me die."

He grabs me, or atleast tries, so fast I didn't see it coming, "Promise me, you won't ever give up."

I look into his eyes, can he see through me? "I-I promise." He hugs me, too bad he couldn't feel it.

We were slient, I tried to think of ways to be a body finder. But I just can't. I see Johnny out of the corner of my eye crying. He tries to hide it from me, but being a ghost in all, I see mostly everything. Then a way of getting my body back pops in my head.

"Oh my god, I think I know the perfect way of getting my body back!"

That gets Johnny's attention. "Tell me now!" He demands excitedly.

"So here's the plan: You hangout with Iggy and pop in some questions about me!" I want to continue but John interupts.

"He'll lie to me though."

"But not unless you have a kick ass girl that can read minds." I smile.

"But how do I get him to speak to me?" I stop smiling.

"Shit! Um-um, why don't you just go to his house?" He doesn't say anything. "I mean, his mom's bound to answer the door. She'll have to let you in."

Hope washes over his face. "You think so?"

"I know so!" He grabs my hand.

"Let's try it."

As we run, I watch Johnny. What will happen to us? If I get my body back, that is. Will I remember anything? What's going to happen to Iggy? Fuck these questions! Since no one will answer them.

We stop on his porch and Johnny asks me if he should ring the door bell. "Yeah, go ahead. I'm going to sneak inside, so don't talk. Otherwise you'll look crazy."

I get inside and se his mother is on her way to the door. Great. Then I walk up the stairs and over to Iggy's room. I pass a mirror on my way. But this time I stop and look.

My face is flawless. No acne, or anything. Must be the aging backwards thing. I look down at my legs, suprised to see no more scars. I felt sad, they were part of me.

I finally get away from the mirror and walk into Iggy's room. But Iggy is no where too be found. Time for a search party! I look under his bed, lift up the mattress, then I looked under his pillow. And that is where I found a note.

Mom, heading over to razor's be back later.

I got what I came for and ran out of the house. Now where did Johnny go? I check my house, and yep, he's there.

He's talking to my dad and Keenan. Comforting them?

"Man, I never noticed how much I needed her until now." Dad said.

"Same, It's like the light in the house went out and no one can replace it." Keenan spoke up for the first time.

Everyone has slient tears steaming their face, including me. I just wanted to get out of there, So I headed to the park and started to swing on the swings. I start laughing. I could only imagine what people are thinking of seeing a swing, swing by itself.

Someone lightly touches my hand making me jump. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Johnny says.

I turn to him and start to cry. He tries to comfort me but it just doesn't help. Stupid fucking Iggy! I hate him! Wait that reminds me! "Iggy is at Razor's Edge!"
