Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 186
I Want You To Be With Me

Change me and maybe
We can be happy.
But I'm reluctant,
You see,
There's so much
We could be.
There's a world out there,
People we can meet,
And you could be like me.
Be the way it's meant to be
Just you and me in
Our first time at the sea.
The waves brush against
You and me as far as we
Can see with our virgin eyes.
I want you to be with me.
