Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 144
This Is All Your Fault! (Song)

Description on Deviantart (by the way, I AM PoetofTheFallen280, and I do own this poem, Kellsie is one of my ex girlfriends.): As all my poetry, this was inspired by music. I was listening to the band Alesana while writing this, and am proud to say that this is for Kellsie. Kellsie was a huge Alesana fan and has a terrible crush on the lead singer: Shawn Milke. In dedication to this fact, although she'll never know, I take solace that I wrote a piece of poetry - a "fuck you" note, if you will - for her while listening to her favorite band.
On the lighter side: Alesana has great lyrics, even if the screaming is a bit hard to understand, and if you get past the deep-voiced screaming, high-pitched screaming and the dislike I have for Milke's voice, you will note this band's got real talent. They're also working on a new album, and I anticipate this. However, if anyone is interested in checking out their other albums and EP(s), Note me, and I can send you a download!

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

Saturate your eyes with my flesh,
Is this feeling something new?
I can't guarantee this is new, no.
What was I running from, again?

Streak against this soul's canvas,
The stars fall apart above us.
This feeling, it's stuck inside of me,
Where did we let this happen?

This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!

Streak against this soul's canvas,
Is this feeling something new?
Where did we let this happen?
Saturate your eyes with my flesh!

The stars fall apart above us.
I can't guarantee this is new, no.
This feeling, it's stuck inside of me,
What was I running from, again?

This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!

Should I withdraw my skin, again?
Let you taste my fine-made snake oil,
And I think that you may see,
There's another side of me!

Angel tears burn my cheeks,
This place doesn't belong
To my imagination and I won't
Forgive any of your mistakes!

This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!
This is all your fault!

Angel tears burn my cheeks,
Should I withdraw my skin, again?
This place doesn't belong!
There's another side of me!

To my imagination and I won't
Let you taste my fine-made snake oil,
And I think that you may see,
I can't forgive any of your mistakes!

This is all your fault!
This was never my fault!
This was never my fault!
This is all your fault!
