Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 120
"Baby, I love you."

It's become so obvious, to me.
That if you were to go away,
I might not be standing here.
But let's not think that way.
Instead, let's think about
What we have left. All of our
Love and how we could
Take this world, make it
Our own because, let's
Both be completely honest,
We're in love and nobody,
Nobody can tear us apart.
If anybody ever tried
To hurt you, well then,
I hope they know that
I'm one hell of a fighter.
Because you're my everything,
My love, my life, my laughter,
My heart, my soul, every fiber
Of my unholy being. And I just
Have to say that, well,
I can truly say,
"Baby, I love you."
