Chapter 98
I Cheated

"You were right, about what you were thinking before," I said hollowly. The tears stung my eyes.
She remained silent. But I could see the tears within her eyes, too.
"What the fuck! How could you?" She screamed, the tears drenching her cheeks.
It was then that my soul bled out through its window. I cried tears.
As I realized what I'd done. And silently, ever-so-silently, I mouthed the words, as if they were foreign.
"I cheated..."
