Poetry From The Weakened Soul

Chapter 45
Weak Flame

What is this feeling?
I've become so cold
This place is dreadful
And I keep sinking deeper
Pushing all my hopes down
As I try it gets harder
I think it might be better
If I just suffer alone
Because it hurts more
When I'm like this
With people to care about
I have people who love me
And I'm putting them in pain
Maybe I should just go away

But the second I try and
Leave everything behind
This world comes crashing down
And everything seems to get worse
It's a downward spiral
What's going on inside me?
It just gets harder every day
And I wish there was a savior
Out there to save this poor sinner
But it seems my hope's diminished
Put out like a weak flame
On a small candle
