Poetry From The Weakened Soul
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 15
Relationship Sorrow

Sometimes I wonder why
You pretend that you care
Yeah, I see my name

But I see it so clearly
You're a book
Just so easy to read
And my name isn't there

I wanna slice myself
Yeah, that'll catch your
Attention 'cause it seems
You don't care anymore

Please, don't pretend
I know you're a liar
Liar, liar, liar, it rings
The bells in my head

And the saddest part is
I want it to be like this
Because, I can see
The end of our relationship

It's waiting over the horizon
And I can't see your face
When he comes over
I hope you hate me
