Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 194
Drown

I've been fed injustices for so long
But every time it gets harder to swallow
My misery makes me feel shattered and hollow
Just so much more sorrow for me to take
It's as if my hands are going blue
Sometimes the wounds sear my skin
From another whip and its lash
I don't care what you think of me
I want to eat your poisoned heart from your cocoon
Wherever you go now, baby, I will find you
And I hope that the tar pit brings you down
I'll take you with me so that we can drown
DROWN
DROWN
DROWN
Together
