Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 171

Envy, envy, envy, envy
I love you
I don't love you
My indecision is killing me

Someone help me stay faithful
I'm breaking down, crying tears
Last me once, my pride
Last me once and forever

I must make a confession
You are my obsession
I need to take a sin
And write it in my blood

Temptress, tempt me away
Keep pushing me
But I must show no interest
No, no, don't do that

Don't hang me, temptress
Don't smack me, queen
Save me, oh save me from my sins
I won't be unfaithful

But this jealousy
Just rots in me
Without any mercy
I have no courtesy

Driving me insane
Like a nail into wood
The hammer smashes my brain
And I go legs first into the ground
