Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 148
Special Lies

I wish I could see the day
Where the sun never rises
And it's night every morning
Then maybe I would love this

And deep below I hear your soul scream
Help me! Please! Somebody!
And up above I laugh at your face
Here's another dose, my love

I fantasize every day you lie
On the ground and your eyes roll back
Love your tears, I'll drink them down
Rivers of blood run past your jawline

How can you find comfort
In my hateful disrespect?
You're worse than me, you know
And I just can't let you go

Sometimes they say it's best
If we could just forget
But I'd rather watch you die
That was my plan tonight

And as you writhe in my flame
Know that, nobody came
To your rescue tonight, because I
Sealed the doors with my special lies

Soothe my open wounds, baby
And cure my headache with
Your shallow screams of pain
Here comes my favorite part

And as you writhe in my flame
Know that, nobody came
To your rescue tonight, because I
Sealed the doors with my special lies
