Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 144
Disgraced

Love has lost all it's grace
My faith has been disgraced
Like a bird shot out of the sky
It goes into a nose dive
Before my eyes lies the lies
Of past times in the air
I wish I could see past
All the pain, and it's wrong
So wrong
That I waste all my time
On people that act like you
Act so helpless and self-centered
What's the point?
I give you attention
And you want so much more
