Chapter 135
Dance With The Wind

WRITTEN IN SCHOOL, WRITTEN IN A NOTEBOOK Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

DANCE WITH THE WIND

The lush trees, brushing against sky

Moving elegantly with the wind, dancing

Sometimes slow and clam, like a sleeping kitten

Other times quick and erratic, as if frightened

Their hundreds of tiny limbs

Moving and weaving in the gentle breeze

The tallest watch over the small

Like a father protecting his own kin

Blissfully unaware of the fences

That surround these majestic plants

They continue to strive and be free

They continue to dance with the wind
