THE NAIVE CHILD

Thinking of your bright eyes

I can pretend that I'm not

Who I am but you'll find out

In the end, trying to hide

I'm always found some way

Wish for once I could just get lost

Always in the way

Just a big mistake

Ready to die any day

Finally going to break

Numb inside, disease spreading

It's like I got this cancer

Circulating throughout my body

Singing my heart and mind

With the Black, the Flame

It's the end of time

And even though I'm in the way

You walk right through me

Stepping on my dreams

Crushing my world under foot

I let you under my skin

Opened up my shell so

You would finally see

All my scars, all my pain

Showed you how I hold

The weight of the world

But you kicked me

While I was down and broken

Now the time has come

For me to crush you

Crush your dreams and

Smash your heart

And as my foot hovers

I find I don't have the ability

To stomp down
