Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 85
The Fallen One

This poem is a bit odd. I think you know who it's about. WRITTEN IN A NOTEBOOK Thursday, August 26th, 2010

THE FALLEN øNE

Burning these scabbed wings

I am Hei

The fallen one

From the black-hearted heavens above

Ridiculed and kicked while down

I stand up, despite my horrid looks

Despite my pain, I keep my chin up

My kingdom taken away, what's left?

I am Hei

The fallen one

From the black-hearted heavens above

They call me evil, Anti-Christ

He's gotten my creations against me

There's nothing left for me to lose

Let them beat this dead cow

I shalt not strike back

I am Hei

The fallen angel
The one who lost his wings

The fallen one

Cast out from the evil heavens above

I construct my army

Of holy souls

I will take back

What is rightfully mine

My throne, my life

And my wings
