Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 67
Psychosis

This poem is simply inspired by the thought "I need pills for my psychosis" which I randomly said out loud in school. WRITTEN IN A NOTEBOOK, WRITTEN IN SCHOOL Monday, August 23, 2010

PSYCHOSIS

Could you see the world

In a different light?

With new eyes and a different heart

Everything blurry suddenly clear

The owl's deep eyes see all

But not all is to be seen

I need my pills for the psychosis

I'm spiralling, ready to blow

Insecure and paranoid

Breaking out, viscious sweat

I'm cold and scared

I need you, Beauty

Am I alive?

Am I dead?

Or have I just

Developed psychosis?
