Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 49
How Much You Mean

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010 WRITTEN IN A NOTEBOOK. This one's about my Aphrodite (and someone else). Despite all we've been through, I love you, Madison, I hope we never have to break.

HOW MUCH YOU MEAN

The walls start to cave in

My heart's racing, skin on fire

In the long-run, somewhere I went wrong

Somewhere I just plain fucked up

Let me show you just how much I love you

I look at the night sky and wish to be with you

I look at myself and wish I looked better

I'm just plain scared, my nerves are shot

I feel like I could die, right on the spot

You'd never understand, never see

Just how much you mean to me
