Piercing The Sky, A Book of My Poems
Author: Neil Evans

Chapter 7
Unknown Feeling

For some reason I felt a nagging inspiration. The last two lines of this very short poem are the inspiration. I tried waiting for other lines to come into my head. Usually my poems start with a simple thought, then I wait for another thought to add to the poem. This time, I just couldn't wait. I felt a desperate need to finish it the second the idea came. Also, from now on I wish to keep the dates that I write these poems. This one's date: July 2nd, 2010. Anyway, I'm rambling again, and I'm excited to present this piece that I call: Unknown Feeling

When you are in my heart

Nothing else can ever matter

When you enter my mind

I don't want you to leave

When you are in my arms

Not even God can hurt you
