Chapter 1
The Girl With Hair Of Fire

"Goodnight, don't let the alligators bite."

The small girl who spoke these words turned away and walked home from the small street, heading in the opposite direction of the boy in which she had spoken to. Her thin, red hair drifted through the air as the wind blew it behind her.

The sun had just slowly went down, although the small boy of curls still stood in the place where his school bus had left him.

It won't be safe to stay after dark, a part of him said.

But the girl with hair of fire continued to burn in the back of his head, along with the short sentence she had spoken to him.

But it'll be worth it, he pointed out to himself.

And for a few more moments, he bathed in the remaining sunlight, reminiscing the previous acquaintance.

At home, he fell asleep with the face of the girl in his memory.

He had taken notice of an Odd.
