Chapter 1
Chapter 1

"Stacy!" Olivia shouted as she ran into the house. "Hey Stacy, look, I'm here! I made it!" Olivia traveled up the stairs of her best friends house, hoping to find her somewhere. "Stace?" She shouted, walking into her friends bedroom. She set her bag down on her bed. It looks like there's no eternal life here, Olivia thought. Where could she be?

Olivia walked out of the bedroom and down the hallway, still searching for her best friend. But she was no where to be found. By the end of the hour, Olivia had searched just about almost every room in the house, leaving out her parents room, brothers room, and the bathroom. "Stacy, I'm just going to find you sooner or later!" she yelled, walking out of the kitchen.

Olivia walked into the living room and sat on the couch, turning on the TV. There seemed to be nothing good on, so she had just turned to a random channel. "Presidential stuff," she mumbled. "Nothing good." Just then Olivia thought she heard light shuffling up stairs on the carpet. She thought it might have been Stacy.

She walked up the stairs slowly, hoping that it was her friend. When she got to the top of the stairs she found Stacy walking into her room. "Stacy!" she yelled, and ran towards her. Stacy turned around, and instantly got a bug smile on her face.

"How did you find me?" Stacy asked, while hugging Olivia.

"I thought I heard your light shuffles." Olivia smirked.

"Well, you heard correctly."

They walked into Stacy's bedroom. "Stace," Olivia began, "is everything okay? You seem off your a game. Was volleyball tough or something today?" "Oli, I didn't go." Stacey puffed out, slightly sitting on the edge of her bed. "But you never miss a volleyball practice. Something up?" Olivia sat next to her friend. She thought that there was something she wasn't telling her, but Stacy just turned her head.

"You know, you can tell me anything. I'm not going to tell anyone."

"It's just..." Stacy stared at the ground, thinking of what she should say.

"It's just what, Stace?" Olivia said, leaning into Stacy. She wrapped her arm around her to comfort her. "Everything alright?"

Stacy shook her head. "I just... I'm sorry. I don't know how to word this."

"It's okay." Olivia whispered, while rubbing Stacy's back. "Take your time."

"Oli?"

"Yeah, Stace?"

"I... I'm anorexic."
