Silver Orphan is a story of redemption inspired by a special man who recently passed away at the age of 86. Frank's true identity must remain veiled, but his legacy will impact generations to come. To atone for his perceived sins and distressing iniquities, Frank carefully constructed a facade of insignificance and self-deprivation. Through unexpected circumstances, I became privy to Frank's extraordinary life story; after careful consideration, I have decided to share it with the world.

Silver Orphan is still a work of fiction. The protagonist loosely based on me is a better woman than I could ever aspire to be. I have also exaggerated Frank's impact on the world, but his percussion on my life is very real.

I can see the resemblance to the peer-reviewed medical articles you mention in your bio.

A dose of the vernacular might be a good thing, both in the dialogue and the main character's thought processes. In the actual world, people don't "procure nourishment". Nor do they "reclaim the food gathering portion of their upkeep". Neither is gelato "nowhere in their near future".

Brilliant, otherwise!

Just a suggestion!
