At this point I find myself getting a little lost with who each chapter is about and what time period they are in (I assume they are jumping through time now and then, that's how it seems).

All things considered I think this seems a well thought out and nicely written story. Not usually the kind of book I'd go for, but still entertaining.

I like the mystery you have here. It's a pity this story hasn't had more attention.

Makes me think of King-Kong for some reason. You have good flow and leave the reader with a little bit of a mystery with the first chapter. I did hope for a bit more description of the creature so I could have a better picture in my head as I read about the encounter. I will come back to read more and I'll give a rating when I've got a better feel for the story.
