Alana has been a vampire slayer for almost four years. She thinks she's unstoppable, slaying every vampire that crosses her path since she believes that all vampires deserve to die.

Well, that is, until a vampire that she can't kill steps into the picture. And he turns her world completely upside down. And just when she thinks she understands him, he changes everything once again. He's in this only to get the ring, a very powerful object that can do very bad things if it gets into the wrong hands.

However, unknowing to both of them, as they spend more time with each other they create a bond so powerful that it can only be described by one word: Love. Is it so wrong for a slayer and a vampire to love each other?

EDIT: I've gotten several comments about my lack of description of the characters... you guys have to realize that this is just the prologue. The descriptions of the characters will come within the first couple of chapters.

I was just stopping by to read some of your other books. I must say I'd like to read more to see how the story proceeds, but... the whole slayer/vampire thing was done twice - first with Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series which is still going strong at about 20 books, and second with Buffy, which you mention in here. Sadly, this is close to being a strange mix of both those series and even closer to being a fan fiction.

On to the story: You have several grammatical and spelling errors that would be addressed in an edit. You really do need to add a bit more description of your main character. You've told me she's wearing a jean jacket and boots, but for all I know she could be otherwise naked. She should also be more scared being without her weapons. An unarmed human against a vampire is not even close to being a fair fight.

Like I said, I'd like to read more to see how it progresses, but it's a bit too close to other similar stories for it to hold my attention for long.
