Being in business is like swimming in a Big Wide Ocean. Inviting though it may seem, beneath the ocean are perils of which every business owner needs to be wary. Anyone can jump in, but not everyone will survive.

Between 33-43% of businesses fail in their first 7 years of trading. An increasing number never meet the expectations of the business owner.

If you are thinking of starting up your own business or are in your first 10 years of trading, then this book will give you strategies for making sure that you succeed and don't end up another statistic.

What I would like to ask is have you ever been a practising lawyer? I have for ten years and if you doubt that read The Control Sickness.

I have to say I was a little skeptical, I have read many books on business and said, "Oh, another remake" Yet your style presents an easy and enjoyable, not to forget informative, read. Let me know when it is done.

The author is starting to get specific and deliver real value with his advice. More chapters like the third one will get readers thinking about how they approach the business of business. The only risk is that, after having read it, people think they know it all. In reality, the author is demonstrating the value of having a good lawyer and being prepared to take his/her advice.
