"Lets get the smell out of here." He told the staff.
After two hours of cleaning they had the entire room scrubbed down with the strongest cleaning products they had and the smell still wasn't gone. They had cleaned the carpets, windows, and walls. They took down the curtains and hung new ones.
The manager just didn't get it. The room still had the horrible stench in it. The only place left to clean was the mattresses. The couple was just walking in when the manager decided maybe changing out the mattresses would help.
John helped him lift the top mattress. They backed up horror when they found something under it laying in the carved out box spring.

This is just the retelling of a urban legend I just read called The body In the Bed but I'm giving it my own twist that hopefully makes it creepier than the original.
