Richard is a clone. At birth, a concerned scientist secretly rescued him from a classified, illegal breeding project.

He grows up, hiding in the basement of a mansion, far outside Subsomnia the sleeping city. Now, eighteen years later, he anonymously comments on the metropolis by writing thought provoking articles in the Free Morning, the city's last independent newspaper.

When his clone brother Mephisto is placed in control over the big metropolis, Ferdinand Fletcher Richard's only protector and chief editor of the paper is arrested for breaking the newly imposed restrictions. Overnight, Mephisto has become the main shareholder of the paper and demands the identity of the bright columnist that has been troubling him for years.

After an alarming call from his godfather Fletcher, Richard is forced to leave his hiding place for the first time in his life. With a box full of helpful items, he travels toward the city that he has been studying all his life.

Richard is sent out to find shelter with David Wilde, an expelled history professor who is fascinate by the secret history of the planet. Together they start to unravel the conspiracy that has put the whole city in a soulless slumber.

Hey I.T. is dead wrong about your book. It does spark a fire, it's very well written except for a few grammar mistakes and as for him, well i read his bio and he can shove that stuck up attitude up his ass.
